Kildare County Council and the Brigid – Spirit of Kildare Festival 2026 are delighted to announce that one of Ireland’s biggest bands, Picture This, will headline this year’s celebrations. The band will return to their home county of Kildare for an unmissable performance in Dreamland Ballroom, Athy (R14 EW20), on Friday, 30 January 2026.

The homecoming concert titled The Spirit of Kildare Sessions will see the chart-topping band perform an intimate set at this legendary venue in the heart of Kildare. Tickets for the event are priced at €25 (+ Booking fee) and will go on sale in person at Dreamland Ballroom, Athy on the 6th of November from 12pm.

This event is designated as over 18s only due to a combination of operational and safety considerations. It features a fully licensed bar, standing-room format and limited capacity, making it unsuitable for younger guests. Photo ID may be required for entry.

Q: How, when, and where can I buy tickets?

A: Tickets can be purchased in person only and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the Dreamland Ballroom, Athy starting at 12:00 PM on November 6th.

A: The Dreamland Ballroom, The Arch, Kilkenny Road, Blackparks, Athy, Co. Kildare, R14 EW20.

 

Q: How long will tickets be on sale?

A: Tickets will be on sale until 8:00 PM on November 6th, or until they sell out, whichever comes first.

 

Q: How many tickets can I buy?

A: You can purchase a maximum of two (2) tickets per person.

 

Q: Is there an age restriction?

A: Yes, this is a strict Over 18s Only event. Please do not purchase tickets for people under 18.

 

Q: What payment methods are accepted?

A: Card payment only.

 

Q: How much do tickets cost?

A: Tickets are €25, plus a booking fee

 

Q: Can I resell my ticket?

A: No, tickets are not for resale.

 

Q: What kind of ticket will I receive?

A: You will receive a digital ticket with a unique barcode for entry. This barcode only allows a single scan.

 

Q: Are refunds available?

A: Tickets are non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation.
