Kilteel St. Brigid’s Art Weekend – From Darkness to Light

Join us around the outdoor fire, a symbol of moving from darkness into light, from winter towards spring and a time of renewed hope.

Tunes, readings and songs to mark our tentative steps into the celtic spring.

Bring last year’s St. Brigid’s Cross to throw in the fire. Tradition holds that if you make a new cross each year it will keep fire from your home.

We will be joined around the fire by:

The Clondalkin Mummers

who will then round off the evening with a short performance indoors. The Clondalkin Mummers, Cleanmairí Chluain Dolcáin, were founded to bring the ancient tradition of mumming back to life.

This will be followed by an informal Irish Music Session
