Lasair Bhríde/Brigid’s Flame

A night of Irish Traditional Music in Kill, Co. Kildare, on Sunday 1st February. The line-up includes virtuoso uilleann piper, Mark Redmond, songs and tunes from sisters Sandie Purcell and Rossagh Cusack, some Irish and Breton magic from Aoife Kelly and Charlie Le Brun on concertina and flute, and a powerful duet of fiddle and accordion with Michael Harrison and Janine Redmond. The concert will also premiere a new composition, “Bandia”, for uilleann pipes and fiddle by Sandie Purcell.
